Why we exist

Most of this work still lives in scattered emails, attachments and shared drives. We give companies and their advisors one shared place to do it, with records, history and next steps already in view. Modern where it counts, quiet where it matters.
Over the years we have seen a rising demand for shorter communication lines between clients and advisors, the need for a boutique approach, and a very heavy ask for more ease of doing business. So we built one place where both sides operate together: organisations on one end, the specialists who serve them on the other, with the housekeeping and filing workflows that connect them already built in. Each side gets distinct value on its own , and the whole becomes more useful as more of both come on board.

Twenty years in professional services
Joost has spent two decades inside the professional services industry, consistently operating at the crosspoint of a client's interest and the point where the advisor's role traditionally ended. From that vantage point one pattern kept repeating: a quiet void between advice, the services around it, and the actual implementation that follows.
That observation, combined with an intrinsic drive to modernise the old way of doing things and a deepening interest in legal tech and legal AI, became the seed for West Solace Group. The aim is straightforward: remove the friction, close the gap between advice and execution, and let each participant get a maximal return on their effort.
The magic, as Joost puts it, happens where inefficiency disappears and an ecosystem takes its place , one where companies, advisors and the work itself all compound in value the more they come together.
Joost holds an LL.M from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Business Administration from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
